All Saints Church, Hemswell. The Parish church, early C13, 1764, 1858. Internal stained glass: three scenes on one of the delightful stained glass depicts The Agony in the Garden, Matthew 26:40-46. Inside can be found a plaque with the date of 1754 which is when the mediaeval south aisle was removed and the old tower demolished. In the south of the chancel there is a late 13th century sedilia. The font is 13th century, built on a 19th century base and bears the arms of the Monson family. The organ is by Forster and Andrews and was installed in 1871 on a purpose built west gallery.
